Welcome to Kursun Spatial. We are are producing Dolby Atmos mixes since march 2022. We are relocated in a suburb of Istanbul named Kilyos. Close to the Blacksea and it's beaches. Kursun Spatial is a service of Pb Müzik Production that was founded in 2002 and is a Muyap / IFPI Member music company. Generally we prepare one Atmos music mix in 4 x 3 hour sessions. The sessions are file management, track layout, general spatial image design and leveling & mixing. After the last stage of mixing we have a quality control stage. Atmos mixing is a very open subject. The majority of our clients experience the music via headphones and we have a 7.1.4 system. This creates a compatibility question. Our sound aesthetics priority for spatial mixing is the headphone. Every addressing that we make in the 7.1.4 system in the higher locations is transferred by the binaural headphone rendering softwares by using equalization, especially in the high frequency range. Sometimes we apply contra equalization to secure our sound design in the rendering softwares. We believe that spatial mixing is a great new technology to create dynamical open music transmission files. It is young and we are experimenting. All our best wishes
